The new Navigator keeps the bold, upright silhouette that drivers love, but softens the edges with a sleeker, more contemporary design. The standard Navigator measures 210.0 inches in length, 94.6 inches in width, and 78.0 inches in height. The Navigator L, with its extended wheelbase, stretches to 221.9 inches in length. Around back, a new light bar spans the tailgate, giving the rear a more upscale appearance. The updated split liftgate makes loading and unloading more convenient, while a built-in shelf doubles as a tailgate seat or storage divider.
Spacious, Tech-Forward Interior
Inside, the 2025 Navigator feels modern and expansive. The centerpiece is a new 48-inch curved digital display that runs nearly the full width of the dashboard. It combines the gauge cluster, infotainment, and navigation into one seamless interface. A second, lower touchscreen handles most vehicle functions, including climate control and airflow direction, replacing traditional knobs and vents with on-screen controls.
Passenger space remains generous across all three rows. Cargo space, however, has increased significantly. In the standard Navigator, you'll get 21.6 cubic feet behind the third row, 60.8 cubic feet behind the second, and a maximum of 107 cubic feet with all rear seats folded. The extended-wheelbase Navigator L expands those numbers to 36.1 cubic feet behind the third row, 75.4 cubic feet behind the second, and up to 122 cubic feet total. The flexible cargo system and new shelf feature make the space even more practical for everyday use.
Comfort, Seating, and Premium Features
The Navigator continues to lead in interior comfort. On Black Label models, front seats offer 30-way adjustability for the driver and 28-way for the passenger, complete with heating, ventilation, and massage. The cabin remains impressively quiet thanks to acoustic glass and sound-deadening materials, and the standard 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system offers immersive, high-fidelity sound.
One standout new feature is Lincoln Rejuvenate, which turns the cabin into a relaxing escape. It combines ambient lighting, curated scents, calming sounds, seat massage, and climate adjustments, all activated when the vehicle is parked.
Performance, Handling, and Towing
Under the hood, the 2025 Navigator carries over its proven twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, producing 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and available four-wheel drive. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is estimated at 5.3 to 5.5 seconds, and with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, the Navigator can tow up to 8,700 pounds.
Despite its size and body-on-frame design, the Navigator delivers a composed, confident ride. Adaptive suspension helps smooth out rough roads, while steering remains light and predictable. It's not built for corner-carving, but for everyday driving and long road trips, it's supremely comfortable and capable.
Technology and Driver Assistance
Lincoln BlueCruise, the brand's hands-free highway driving system, now comes standard and includes new features like automated lane changes and explanations when the system disengages. Additional driver-assist features include adaptive cruise control, intersection assist, and enhanced visibility during lane changes.
